This policy explains how Alfredo Jaramillo, Colombian attorney (professional card T.P. 93906), handles the personal data of people who visit alfredojaramillolawyer.com, send a message or book a consultation. It is issued under Colombian data protection law (Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations).
1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we collect
- Contact form: name, email, phone number, country of residence, topic and the message you write.
- Consultation booking: name, email, phone number, a short description of your matter, the type of consultation, the date and time you choose, your language and your time zone.
- Payments: payments are processed by Wompi (Bancolombia group). We never receive or store your card or bank details. We only receive the payment status, amount, transaction number and the email used at checkout.
- Technical data: our hosting provider may record basic technical information, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and working.
3. How we use it
- To reply to your message and assess your matter.
- To schedule your consultation, hold the time you chose and confirm it by email.
- To call you or send you the video call link for your consultation.
- To keep the records required for professional and accounting purposes.
We do not sell your data and we do not send you marketing messages.
4. Service providers
We rely on the following providers, which may process data outside Colombia under their own security and privacy terms:
- Netlify: website hosting and contact forms.
- Wompi: online payments.
- Google: Google Calendar, to record appointments in the attorney's calendar, and Google Meet, for video consultations.
- Resend: delivery of confirmation emails.
5. Google user data
This website connects to Google only through the attorney's own Google account, to create, read and update appointments in his calendar, create Google Meet links for video consultations and send calendar invitations to the client who booked. It does not access the Google account or Google data of visitors. The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data only for as long as needed to handle your request or consultation and to meet legal, professional and accounting obligations. After that, it is deleted or anonymized.
7. Your rights
Under Law 1581 of 2012 you may, at any time and free of charge:
- know, update and correct your personal data;
- ask what your data has been used for;
- revoke your authorization or ask us to delete your data, when there is no legal duty to keep it;
- file a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.

8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), payments go through a certified payment gateway, and access to the information is limited to the attorney.

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
